About this project
Abricos LLC completed a full primary-bathroom renovation in Denver in 2023. The project included demolition of the existing bathroom, layout reconfiguration and relocation of the shower area. Plumbing modifications were performed by a licensed plumbing contractor coordinated as part of the project. The completed bathroom includes a glass-enclosed tiled shower, separate bathtub, double vanity and updated interior finishes.
What the homeowner wanted
The homeowner wanted to completely renovate the existing bathroom and relocate the shower to create a more functional layout.

The existing bathroom was removed to allow the layout and shower location to be reworked.

Why relocating a shower is one sequence, not one trade
Moving a shower is rarely a tile decision. The new layout, the plumbing modifications, the enclosure build-out and the finish work all depend on each other, so they were planned and executed as a single coordinated sequence rather than as separate stages handed between trades.
That is also why the demolition was taken far enough to expose what the new layout needed, instead of trying to reuse a footprint that no longer suited the room.
