About this deck and stair repair
Abricos LLC repaired an existing elevated deck and its exterior stairs. The confirmed work was replacing several rotten wooden beams, replacing the stair treads and painting. The existing deck was repaired, not replaced.
Worn treads and rotten timber
The stair treads were worn, with peeling paint and weathered wood, and timber under the deck showed rot and cracking.

Repaired and painted stairs
A repaired, repainted stair
The stairs now have new treads with a fresh brown finish, and the rotten beams that were identified were replaced.
Planning a deck or stair repair
Rotten framing and worn treads can often be repaired without replacing the whole deck, but that depends on what an on-site inspection finds. Our deck building and repair service explains how we assess framing and materials. To discuss a repair on your own deck, request a project consultation.
